Super charming & spacious apartment in the heart of downtown Richmond! Our family of four had ample room throughout the apartment and never felt like we were on top of each other. It was super convenient having a full-sized kitchen where we could cook up meals, after a quick grocery pick-up at Walmart, to save some money on our trip.Being downtown, you will have the usual city noise, so that wasn't surprising. Night-time was actually pretty quiet. But if you're easily bothered by the occasional noise, then bring a sound machine. The only thing that woke us up was if someone got up to use the restroom....the wood floors are pretty creaky, as are the beds. The shower is very spacious, despite looking small in the photos, and has the best adjustable shower head & water pressure we've ever had at a rental! All four of us could shower nightly and had zero issues with hot water. That was even with running the dishwasher & washing machine as well! The washer & dryer also look small, but are in fact huge inside! It was nice being able to run a small load nightly since our daughter only had one try-out uniform for three days of USYF National try-outs.It did get warm, depsite the A/C, but it's very sunny in the apt. and we did visit during multiple 100 days! It cools off quickly at night though.Very convenient to a lot of things. The 7-Eleven across the street is a godsend for last minute items, or even just a bag of ice.We would definitely stay again!

This apartment was so charming. We loved all of the “old” details mixed with the modern. We lovingly named this place “Ol’ Squeaky” because the floors and the beds are pretty squeaky, but it didn’t bother us. It really just added to the charm. The stairs leading up are a bit steep but manageable. We chose this place because of how close it is to VCU Hospital, but it is so close to a lot of other things as well. The only downside was the parking. The spot designated for this apartment was a little hard to get into with my bigger vehicle. And if you have more than one vehicle, you have to park on the street. It’s free 6p-8a, but it’s only 3 hr parking other than that. So just be mindful of that. Also, it can be a bit loud outside for sure. But nothing that fans and/or sound machines can’t overcome. Overall, we really loved this place and would stay here again.

The apartment is very cute with a beautiful kitchen. The location was convenient, although quite noisy at night.

The host was welcoming, the location and amenities were fantastic. The beds and house were great. I can't rave enough about the cupola and the lighting in the living space. I loved the stay except for one thing. There was a plywood patch on the ceiling of the main bedroom and during an overnight downpour, water leaked down and suddenly poured onto my 70 year old aunt's face as she slept at 2:30 am. Unfortunately this leak repeated the next day as the rain continued. It was very disappointing and shocking. We sent an email to the host and placed a pot on the bed to prevent further water damage or mold, but did not hear a response from the proprty manager.
