The communication from the host was excellent and the room was pleasant. The bed was comfortable.

I was disappointed that the upper half of the double hung window in our room (that overlooks the bay) was “frosted”, like the seal was blown and it was impossible to get the full view of the bay below. The allure of this room is the sea view and I feel that although the price of the room is fair, the sea view is not appropriately represented in the description of the room.

I didn't have breakfast. The hotel had a nice fresh feel, due to the cheerful colour paint outside. Very good location for the beach, and very easy to get into town and to the railway station. It felt safe and well managed without being too intrusive. Generously stocked hospitality tray.

I was in a top floor room, so the stairs might have been a hindrance for some guests. The room was also quite small if it was for 2 people.

Super location, lovely personnel

Right across the ocean with an exceptional room view, and everything is within walking distance, so a car isn't really needed to travel unless you want to see other sightseeing attractions.

Felt unwelcome. Maybe I took it that way, but it was me and my partner's first time going away from home, and with not much experience staying in a hotel, I had asked a few questions. However, the way things were said to me made me feel like I was supposed to already know what's what, which I don't think is right. I was also told I had been notified via message and email, but I didn't receive a single thing. I didn't really care too much about that, but when it came to leaving, we overstayed by one hour because we didn't get enough sleep the previous night. I did notify the receptionist through the Booking.com messaging app. The extractor fan in the toilet wasn't working, so having a warm shower wasn't a good experience as I had to keep opening the door every few minutes to catch my breath. I also asked for more towels the night before we had to leave, but got no response. I'm never really the kind of person to leave a review on anything as I can't be bothered, but this did slightly upset me. When it came to leaving, we weren't even asked how our stay was or told to have a safe journey. I got the impression of "there they finally go." I also noticed that a lot of people around the vicinity of the hotel had a similar unwelcoming atmosphere. Maybe it's just me again, but the vibes and energy didn't feel right, and you can see and feel it. For what I paid, I expected better in terms of hospitality and the small things.
