It was extremely spacious and clean. Seems newly renovated. Facilities were easy to use. Comfortable stay.
There was nothing I didn’t like, but having extra facilities such as WiFi and a microwave would have made our stay even more wonderful.

Posizione ottima per chi deve raggiungere l'aeroporto, fermata bus a 150 metri. Vicino a numerosi bar e ristoranti raggiungili a piedi.
Assenza wi-fi, avrei aggiunto thè, tovaglioli e qualche bottiglia acqua in frigo. Comunque non è stato per noi un problema.

The apartment was in a good location, within walking distance to several points of interest. It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful too.
We would have liked WiFi in the apartment but managed without it.

We rely heavily on Booking.com reviews when choosing where to stay, so I wanted to leave an honest review. The apartment appears to have been modernised within the last year or two, so visually it feels fresh and modern. Mario, the host, was always polite and pleasant whenever we contacted him. The air conditioning was very good, which was especially welcome in August when temperatures were regularly well into the 30s, particularly at night. There is also a small pizza place nearby which we enjoyed, plus a coffee shop towards the end of the road. However, the location is worth considering. It is around a 25 to 30 minute walk from Napoli Centrale and the central areas, which feels much further in the summer heat. The walk back at night is poorly lit in places. We were two men in our 40s and had no problems, but some travellers may feel uncomfortable. There is not much immediately around the apartment, and several restaurants shown on Google Maps were permanently closed. The local buses were extremely unreliable throughout our week, on weekdays and weekends, with scheduled buses regularly failing to appear. Taxis are expensive too, our short journey from the station on arrival was nearly €30. There is also no washing machine, despite there appearing to be space for one. For a longer stay this matters, especially as we were supplied with one main towel each for the week. I would recommend bringing extra towels or being prepared to find a laundrette further into Naples.
The biggest ongoing issue was the electricity. There are three air conditioning units, but running all three caused the power to cut out. Even with two running, using the hob, air fryer or other appliances could trip it. Older reviews appear to mention the same issue. Several basics were missing, including suitable bin bags for the main kitchen bin, almost no washing up liquid, only a used washing up brush, nowhere to drain washed dishes, very little hand soap, and no vacuum cleaner, mop or bucket for a week long stay. Cleanliness on arrival was disappointing. We were delayed getting in while cleaning was still taking place, yet found hairs on bedding, dust on TVs and surfaces, and the shower did not appear properly cleaned. The layout is also unusual. The first bedroom has no external window and nowhere to hang clothes. To reach the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom you have to walk through the second bedroom, which is worth knowing if friends or separate couples are sharing. Building security was another concern. The main entrance was regularly left unlocked and the second security gate to the stairs was often wide open and did not seem to stay properly closed. The biggest problem was the shower. After the first day it began draining extremely slowly and quickly flooded onto the bathroom floor, even with short bursts of water. Mario told us to remove the drain cover and clean the filter ourselves. We then had to keep doing this throughout the stay because the very small filter clogged with tiny amounts of lint or hair. There were only two of us, both with short hair, so this could be a major inconvenience for a family or anyone with longer hair. We also saw ants around the shower and bathroom. Overall, the electricity, shower flooding, cleanliness, missing basics, layout, security and lack of washing facilities made this a 5 out of 10 stay for us.
