Villa Oretta

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, we walked into Cortina.

Nicely updated with fresh finishes from top to bottom! Great location near town. Wonderful breakfast provided.

Parking was limited, and the bed was a little firm for our taste.

I like the accommodation as we had, as it had comfortable beds, shower was great ,the views were wonderful and the town was a 10 minute walk to the centre. It is so pretty in Cortina and I love how the houses have the flowers on each balcony, as they add such colour and make the whole town aesthetically pleasing. To get to the sites like the Cinque Torri and Funivia Lagazuoi in the Dolimites was only around 10 to 15 min drive which made it easy. We had dinner at the Villa Oretta and the food was traditional local food and tasted amazing. The owner and staff were very hospitable and made us feel at home.

To drive in the to the villa was easy, but driving out was a challenge as its on a main road to the town and as there are a lot of curves on the road so hard to see if someone is coming when backing out , it can be a bit tricky reversing out from the parking area . Also the air conditioning worked for a few hours but then it would stop and heat up the room. This made it a bit challenging for our sleep. However, the owner said he would have to get someone in to have a look at it.
