We had a very successful stay and will gladly return. The hotel is located right in the city center, with polite and professional staff. Parking is available and the reception is open 24/7. The prices are adequate for the quality of the hotel. It definitely deserves 4 stars.

Clean, easy to use elevator, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave luggage for 3 days while we went on a 3 day tour of the South Coast and then came back and stayed another day. Laundry room in the building which we used.
Like most hotels there is almost no thought given to people that bring a couple of big suitcases. There were not any surfaces to place the bags on . We were able to use a luggage rack which we had to request and another bag was sprawled on a couch. We got upgraded to a nicer room when we returned but there was no couch so my bag was balanced on a small table and one of the chairs from the small eating table in the room. Also, not specific to this hotel but everything is super expensive in Iceland.

Location was good
Heater in bath never worked with our countless request to fix.
Commode got stopped up, no plunger on property, had to go to adjacent room to use toilet
Inside door of elevator was nasty
