Het is een fijn appartement op de eerste etage. Op de begane grond is ook een vakantiewoning. Het is een originele cottage, maar pas verbouwd en mooi opgeknapt.
Prettig dat er parkeerplek is bij de woning. De Old Chapel Lane is idd erg smal, maar met ingeklapte spiegels lukt het en het is maar een klein stukje.
's Ochtends werden we verblijd door de stieren in het weiland achter het huis.
Het is een heerlijk rustig plekje en ideaal om de Lake District te verkennen. De grote wegen liggen vlakbij.
In Levens is een winkeltje, waar je (bijna) alles kunt kopen. Het is klein en krap, maar het assortiment is groot!
Vanaf het huisje kun je een mooie wandeling maken naar het kasteel Sizergh met mooie tuinen.
Vlakbij Levens Hall ligt Levens Deer Park. Daar kun je een mooie rondwandeling maken en de herten en eekhoorns spotten.
Het beviel erg goed en was groot genoeg voor drie volwassenen, maar ik had de ruimte zowel binnen als buiten iets groter verwacht. Dat leek zo op de foto's.
De buitenterrasjes van beide vakantiewoningen liggen vlakbij elkaar. Wij vinden dat niet fijn. We houden van meer privacy.

Quiet, rural location. Great for walks and driving to different areas/attractions in the Lakes.
We had the upper floor apartment (number 5), was clean and bright. All looked newly refurbished. Bedding, towels and bath mat all smelled lovely and fresh. Good water pressure, so the shower was great.
Local pub, walkable, food was good, Also, nice local village shop, a couple of minutes walk.
We had a wonderful time. Thanks
Nothing much not to like. We knew from the details on the property that the little lane in was tight. We had a fairy big 4x4 which we had to just drive in very slowly.
The seating area outside could do with the bushes and overhanging branches being cut back a little.
