Cancelled two hours before check-in with nowhere else to go — an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Nothing — we never got to see it, so there’s nothing to comment on here.

This host cancelled our reservation roughly two hours before check-in, with zero warning, after we had already traveled to La Maddalena. We were left stranded in a country where we don’t speak the language, with no accommodation and no real help finding an alternative on such short notice. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience — it put our safety and plans at real risk in an unfamiliar place. An overbooking of this kind, handled with this little notice or accountability, is completely unacceptable for anyone hosting on this platform. We had to scramble last-minute to find another place to stay while jet-lagged and stressed, which affected the rest of our trip. I would strongly caution anyone against booking here — there is no way to know if this will happen to you too.

Fantastisch!
