Worst place I have stayed in

Nothing

Unfortunately, our stay at White Cozy Rooms was very disappointing. We had agreed an early check-in for 2pm, but no entry code was sent, so we had to call the host at around 2:30pm to get access. The accommodation was also very unclean. The kitchen had a pan of hardened fat, leftover food, crumbs and cans left around. The bedroom had stains on the walls, beds, pillows and chair, and the wardrobe was broken and damaged. The listing said parking was available, but it wasn’t clearly stated that this was paid parking. We received a parking ticket shortly after arriving and, when we contacted the host, he blamed us rather than acknowledging that the parking information wasn’t clear. Parking also had to be renewed every two hours. We also had very little sleep due to loud noise from the neighbouring building and another guest speaking loudly throughout the night. Most concerningly, after checkout, the host offered to pay half of our parking ticket if we left a review first. We found this completely inappropriate and felt pressured to leave a positive review in exchange for compensation. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and unfortunately somewhere we would not stay again.

Good value for money

The room was clean, there was a kettle and mugs with tea bags inside the room. Shared bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel is located near to tram station which is convenient if you are going to use public transport. Easy to commute to Manchester (35-40 min by tram).

It was a bit noisy outside, a group of people were talking loud till 2 am. Inside the room there was a smell like somebody smoked there a while ago.

Need cheep comfortable and reasonable quiet stay then this is the right spot

Price. I also thought it would be average at best but it exceeded expectations (back handed compliment I’m sorry)

There are things I would’ve preferred but I can’t not ‘like’ something as it meets the description of property

Bardzo lubię zatrzymywać się w tym obiekcie. Pokój jest czysty , przytulny i cichy. Pościel i ręcznik pachnie cudownie. Dziękuję za ciasteczka. Do zobaczenia następnym razem.
