The apartment was very modern and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is well-equipped with a safe, a water kettle with complimentary tea and coffee, and fresh bottles of water provided every day. The swimming pool and the entire property are spotlessly clean. The hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, and the owner was incredibly kind – she even took us on her scooter to a beachfront restaurant called Tropiz Beach which I highly recommend: the food is excellent, prices are reasonable, the service is great, and it's right by the beach. Since the apartment is located uphill (though only a short 5-minute walk away), it is very convenient that they provide the restaurant's menu in the apartment, making it super easy to order food delivery in the evening. In addition, I also highly recommend Secret Penida Restaurant nearby.
The only thing to keep in mind (which doesn't lower our rating, but is useful to know): the property is located uphill. Although it's only a 5-minute walk from the coast, walking up and down multiple times a day can be a bit tiring, especially for less mobile guests. Because of this, it is very convenient that they provide the Tropiz Beach menu in the apartment, making it super easy to order food delivery in the evening.
