Everything. Bed, shower, balcony, view, location. Was definitely the best location between the two beaches. We also love the village square. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay again.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Castle and Sea, Platanos, and we could not have been happier.
The owner was away at the time, but he was incredible helpful via WhatsApp, even helping us sort out a concern with our ferry to Leros, before we even got to the accommodation. Honestly, he could not have been more helpful, regularly contacting us to check that everything was satisfactory, and offering help with advice things to do and see on the island.
The accommodation is a 5-10 minute uphill walk from Agia Marina, where the ferry dropped us. It seems to be quite new accommodation, and there was a bottle wine and lots of other extras waiting for us when we got there, which was a real bonus. There is a great view from the balcony across the bay to mountains on the other side.
The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and the cleaner visited every day to empty bins, change used towels, and clean the apartment. On a couple of occasions she topped up the extras that had been left for us, and on one occasions she even left us some homemade greek sweets!
One thing that we didn't realise until we got there was that if you walk a couple on minutes further up the hill, there is a square with a few tavernas, and a cake/ice cream shop, where the local people tend to meet up in the evening. We really enjoyed being able to sit with them and found them very friendly and welcoming people. There is also a supermarket just off the square.
The location is excellent. 5-10min walk into Agia Marina, 15-20 min walk to Pantelli. Just off the local square there is a walk up to the castle and windmills. We really enjoyed walking up to the castle and watching the sunset, then walking back down to the square for something to eat and drink.
Overall, we could have not asked for a better place to stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we visit Leros again. We have already recommended to friends and family.

Everything at the property had been thoughtfully arranged. Mosquito repellent, cotton pads, butter, complimentary treats, olive oil, and all the kitchen equipment were available and neatly placed. The bathrobes and towels were clean, and the balcony was spacious.
If we visit Leros again, we would definitely stay here.
