Property and location wise everything was amazing, the look and feel, and coziness was on point.
While we had an overall positive stay, we felt the host’s welcome could have been more professional. There was a noticeable smell of alcohol when we arrived, and some of the humour felt a little inappropriate. Several areas of the house were locked and contained personal belongings, which made us feel more like we were staying in someone else’s home rather than in a guest-ready space. We were also advised not to shower for too long because the hot water runs out quickly.
That said, the property itself was lovely, and overall we would rate our stay 9/10. With a warmer and more respectful welcome, improved hot-water capacity, and fewer personal belongings in the guest areas, the experience could be even better.

Spacious, beautiful, functional, practical, peaceful and everything you need.
Had the occasional coldish bath/shower.

Met all our expectations 100%. Loved the Villa and the decor was interesting, extraordinary and totally to our taste. Super clean and tidy. The host was very friendly and accommodating and helped with recommendations to excellent choices of restaurants and a nearby wine farm. ( Enjoyed the wine and cheese at Fairview ) ( Dinner at Noop restaurant at Paarl.
none.
