Well-appointed, modern, comfortable and clean apartment on the eighth floor. Strong wifi. Excellent communication with owner before and during my stay. Various amenities are available within minutes' walk of the apartment complex - a major supermarket, a very good bakery/cafe, plus other cafes, restaurants and businesses. Approximately 12 minutes walk to Baikonur station on Almaty's sole subway line.
Directions for access to the apartment are accurate. It may be helpful to add that pedestrian access to the grounds of the apartment complex is via a rather imposing gate immediately adjacent to a vehicular access gate next to Este Cafe - despite its appearance, this gate simply pulls open and does not need a security code. Once inside the grounds of the complex, the useful instruction is the door number. The name of the apartment building is only visible once one is standing in the lobby of the correct building.
The apartment complex consists of various towers surrounding a landscaped garden/walking track/play area. This area can be noisy until after 11pm on weekend nights.
Construction of additional towers is currently underway - one three-quarters complete, another just started - in a corner of the complex about 100 metres or so from this apartment. Construction noise is only noticeable from around 10am until early evening.
The curtain in the living room/kitchen/dining area is fairly well backed and can block sunlight during hot days. However, the curtain in the bedroom is net/sheer, meaning that the room is completely light before 6am this time of year.

Просторная и уютная квартира в тихом дворе.
Внутри было все необходимое для комфортного проживания, здорово было возвращаться вечером с прогулок по городу и восстанавливать силы в приятной обстановке. Кондиционер есть в каждой комнате, что очень спасало в самую жару!
Также могу отметить удобное бесконтактное заселение, а также общение с хозяйкой!
