La atención del personal y los servicios gratis que ofrece, se siente como resort. La comida muy buena y con grandes porciones.
La ducha estaba algo entaponada, la cama rechinaba, la habitación 201 tenía una columna en el medio.

First, I want to state that this hotel is not an all-inclusive resort, is a boutique hotel in a small gated community called Costambar. I was looking for a hotel outside of Playa Dorada resort community, since our plan was to explore the whole Puerto Plata area, not to stay the whole day at the beach. I booked this hotel because it had great reviews and was one of the few hotels that could accomodate 4 guests in one room (family suite). What I received went beyond my expectations: the family suite was a spacious 2-bedroom apartment! A full kitchenette, dining and living room, and two full bathrooms! The decoration was lovely, and it was clean.
The staff was very attentive and friendly, every question was answered promptly. Everybody was eager to serve.
The facilities are beautiful and have everything you need if you want to stay in the hotel: restaurant, two pools, gym, game room and rooftoop area with magnificent views of the Isabel de Torres mountain.
The beach is close, a 5-minute ride in a golf cart, but not walkable, specially in the summer. The staff can take you to the beach or you can rent your own cart.
We ate dinner and breakfast at their own restaurant, Amado's. The food was very good and servers were very attentive. The breakfast is a la carte, no buffet.
Special call to Junior at reception and Alexander, our beach driver, (don't remember waiter's names), excellent at their job!
The kitchenette was empty: no cookware, glasses, plates or silverware. I assume if I requested glasses, they would have brought them to the suite. It had a coffemaker, but no coffee.
The hotel seems to be understaffed, specially in the restaurant. I read in the reviews that service was slow, so we knew what to expect. In our case, the cook was alone in the kitchen and it took almost an hour to prepare. But it was delicious, so kudos to the solitary chef!

LA UBICACION ME QUEDA COMODA, ESTA CERCA DE MI FAMILIA, LA HABITACION ES BONITA AUQUE PUDIERA SER MAS COMODA.
LOS MATERIALES DE BAÑO SON DE MUY BAJA CALIDAD, LIMPIEZA EL DIA DEL CHECK IN MUY MALA, NO HAY MUCHO ESPACIO PARA COLOCAR LAS TOALLAS HUMEDAS, OSEA TOALLEROS. EL RESTAURANT POCO SURTIDO, EL MENU MUY INCOMPLETO, NI SIQUIERA TENIAN POSTRE ALGUNO.
