Poorly maintained, very old and uncomfortable apartment
The garden and swimming pool were nice, and the covered parking was really useful. The beach was close, although it had small pebbles rather than fine sand and sea gets deep quickly. We preferred Schisò Beach for the 2 days we spent there.
The apartment was poorly maintained, not properly cleaned, and several things did not work correctly. Plaster was falling off the walls, the upstairs mattress squeaked whenever we moved. The two sofa beds downstairs were also badly worn, with the faux leather peeling off.
The air conditioning upstairs did not cool properly and clearly needed cleaning. The refrigerator was old,did not cool enough, smelled bad, and appeared to have mould around the seals. If the air conditioning was on, you couldn’t use a hairdryer at the same time because he electricity would cut out
The bathroom was especially unpleasant because of a strong sewage smell. The shower cabin did not close properly and water was splashing out when inside and the cold-water tap was extremely difficult to turn. There was also dust and dirt throughout the apartment, especiallly under the bed, and random items had been left in the closets.
When we arrived, we had to wait about an hour for the key, even though we had given our arrival time in advance. Once inside, there was no toilet paper, and we were asked to buy it ourselves at around 9 p.m., when the shops were closing. Both clothes-drying racks on the terrace were covered with towels, bed linen, and other items, which we had to remove ourselves when arrived.
