Dirty, worn and very poorly managed.

Location was ideal with parking for 2 cars on the driveway.

We booked the property as a base to use for a family wedding in the area. As soon as we entered the property smelt quite bad, the floors were dirty and you could see water marks on the floor from someone who had clearly just slapped a wet mop around prior thinking it was adequate. We then went into the kitchen which was just disgusting, hair in the crockery, dirt on the floors and chairs, and again it smelled very bad. In the living room, there were crumbs on the sofa As we went upstairs there was dust and rubbish on the floors, dust on the headboards. Hair in the bathroom and in the attic room hairs and dirt on the bedding, so we were unable to use that bed. One of the bedrooms had a curtain pole which was broken. There were towels, but not enough bath towels, and they all smelt like they had been washed in alcohol hand gel. We made the property management company aware as soon as we got there, they did offer to send a cleaner, and they also admitted the cleaner had said the hoover had broken, which explains why the floors were dirty, yet they still thought it was acceptable for us to check in with it being in this condition. We had to go out for a wedding event soon after arriving, so we turned down the cleaner, as we did not want anyone there whilst we were out. The next morning we did not feel up to eating breakfast, we had brought essentials with us, but the toaster was disgusting, and the kettle was full of limescale. In fact we bought limescale tablets from the supermarket to clean the kettle, so that bits were not floating in our hot drinks. We then contacted the property management company and booking.com. We asked if we could be moved to another property as it was that bad, booking.com said we would have to pay for another booking and contacted the property management company for a refund but they refused a refund. That was all booking.com could do, meaning there is no real protection when booking via their platform, which I was disappointed with.

Overall the place was nice and clean

It was very clean and the place looked beautiful . Like it was in the pictures. I’ll give it that a 10 on that because most of the airbnbs don’t but this one looked as good as it looked in pictures.

It was just too hot. Especially with the summer. Maybe I expected too much ,I don’t know but I hoped maybe there will atleast be a fan considering how beautiful the place looked.

It was very clean and the place looked beautiful . Like it was in the pictures. I’ll give it that a 10 on that because most of the airbnbs don’t but this one looked as good as it looked in pictures.

It was just too hot. Especially with the summer. Maybe I expected too much ,I don’t know but I hoped maybe there will atleast be a fan considering how beautiful the place looked.
