I stayed at the accommodation for nine nights. I was there with my son, who is about to start his studies in Coventry. To be honest, I didn't encounter any significant issues, though I should note that my assessment takes the value-for-money aspect seriously into account. For the price we paid, we got the bare essentials—no unnecessary luxuries, but nothing was lacking either. We even had a small welcome gift waiting for us. It doesn't promise anything it doesn't deliver, which is fair. I would recommend it to anyone who plans to spend only a few hours in the room per day and simply needs a place to sleep. Its location is extremely convenient, and the area is mostly quiet, with a few exceptions at night.
The accommodation isn't very convenient for two people. We arrived with two 23kg suitcases and two 10kg ones, and we had to open one on the floor and close another just to get to our clothes. Also, the issue with the bathroom door not opening fully (it hits the bed)—which other guests have mentioned—persists. The TV never worked, despite the instructions we were given (turn it off and back on after 10 minutes); even when I did manage to get it running, the menus weren't in English, and I didn't know how to change the language settings. Perhaps printed instructions should be provided. Finally, I suggest making it clear that access involves climbing two flights of narrow stairs.
