The furniture and the building is new. Safe and free parking within a gate. A shared swimming pool would have been available as well if I had the time.
The pictures don't reflect the apartment you're going to get. The host should update her listing on booking or is going to get more complaints and not just from me.. she just keeps using the pictures from her best apartment with a view on the water but there's a very low chance it's what you're going to get.
Also whoever invented the design for the showers in this building should use it themselves. The water spray is too strong (most likely because of a low quality shower head), it hurts your skin and an adult barely fits there standing..

Het appartement is prachtig, je loopt binnen en voel je gelijk thuis
Het was in begin onduidelijk over de betaling. had liever vooraf betaald via Booking.com als escrow. Je krijgt ipdv een link van SumUp om te betalen.
Dit was onduidelijk in de booking zelf waardoor ik moest dubbel checken of het geen scam was.
een duidelijke tekst dat de betaling gaat via SumUp was welkom geweest.

It was a quiet and modern apartment complex with an easy check-in process. Our apartment was cosy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The heating was perfect for chilly days. We were really appreciative to be able to access the laundromat within the complex to wash clothes after finishing the O Trek. It was only a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre which was convenient for accessing restaurants and cafes. We loved the option to be self-catered with a small kitchen inside the apartment.
If I could make a suggestion, it would be to add block-out curtains or blinds in the bedrooms and living area as our apartment was facing the carpark, which had the lights on all night.

The apartment was clean and comfortable enough, if a little soulless.
Had to pay an extra $100 or so on arrival to be let in because my teenage son was not considered by the security guard or host to be a ‘child’. Received a passive aggressive message that I should have put him down as as an adult, and that a child is 5 years or under. That had not been made clear in the booking process.
Apartment is on the edge of town in what felt like the middle of a building site still. A few shops nearby but not many. Nearest restaurant is about an 8 minute walk. Main part of town (where there are heaps on shops and places to eat) is a 20 minute walk.
Taps in the showers worked in the opposite way to what the markings on the taps suggest - so you need to turn it towards cold to get hot water. Working that out was frustrating as there were no directions / instructions that gave away that secret.
Would not stay again.
