A stunning view and very peaceful location. You have a whole field to yourself with lots of wildlife nearby!
Cutlery, bowls and gas stove with gas supplied.
Bed was very uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep well. The track to camping is DIRE. We got met by Chris’s son who showed us to the tent.
Considering the price I was disappointed there was no tea or coffee provided. We also had no water given to us so we had to go back up the track to drive all the way to the nearest supermarket (15 mins).
1 blanket given in a very cold tent. Consider some more 🥹
We had no fire lighters so Chris’s son came down to give us 3…so we rationed them, but better than nothing nonetheless.
Compost toilet was cool but half the toilet rolls were sodden…
Please put hand soap by the sink and consider a solar light for the dark so people can see :) - we used fairy liquid after the toilet.
The most frustrating thing was Chris never answered his phone - this morning we couldn’t get the car up the track in the grass. 30 minutes later and 2 calls to Chris (who didn’t answer or call back), we gave up and my partner had to push the car up the hill in the rain.
Please put proper tracking down - whilst I have a low car, it’s incredibly unsafe in any wet weather!

Incredible views and great location for sightseeing/hiking. The bed was very comfortable too.
The track to the tent is pretty bad but the owners do warn of this.

This place is off the beaten track, with phenomenal views. Definitely worth visiting if you want to get away from it all.
The road leading to the site, is a test for modern cars but just take it slow
