Extremely disappointing

I appreciated that we could check in one hour earlier

The whole reservations was a disappointment. Aside from the bathroom, which was clean, the rest of the studio was dirty. We coul tell the floors were not cleaned or washed before we checked in, as our feet sticked to the floor. The same sticky surface was present on the common hall as well. We had to spend an extra hour cleaning the whole studio by ourselves (minus the sticky floor) because the host had clearly done a bad job. Our bedsheets, which admittedly smelled clean, had something like a shoeprint right on them. It looked as though someone had taken the sheets out of the dryer and accidentally stepped on them in the process. Now, you might think, surely that was just an honest mistake. These things happen. They must have noticed and washed the sheets again, right? Well, you would be wrong. THEY ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. To make matters worse, the shoeprint was right where your upper body would rest while sleeping. So, rather than sleeping directly on someone else's dirty footprint, we had to use the duvet as a makeshift bedsheet to cover the mess, leaving us without a duvet to actually sleep under. Not exactly the level of cleanliness or comfort you'd expect. As you stepped into the apartment, you were met by some cobwebs. Second door had a broken hadle. There were various cracks in the walls. And you could clearly see spots where the host had tried to cover up dirt or stains with some white paint. The funny thing is, the paint didn't even match the rest of the wall, so instead of hiding anything, it just made those spots stand out even more. The mattress was too soft and it curved in the middle. My back was not happy about it. You could hear everyone on the common hall stepping on the stairs and getting into their own apartment. You could hear it so clearly, that it made you think they were entering your own apartment. That made us feel unsafe. Surroundings felt unsafe as well.

Convenient location in the city, close to the bus station, quiet place, the room has everything you need. Very pleasant hosts who are available even late at night and are ready to solve any problems that arise.

The key was not in the box with the code, as stated in the instructions, so we had to wait for it to be delivered, but the hostess quickly sorted everything out.
