The most important thing for me is that the apartment is clean, and this flat fully met all my expectations. A big bonus is the beautiful view of the lake. We had great weather, so we were able to sit outside in the late evening and enjoy the view.
We also had everything we needed to prepare breakfast ourselves. During our stay, we visited the thermal baths in Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda, and the location was very convenient for getting around. The bus and train stations are only a 6-minute walk from the apartment.
It’s also a pleasant walk to the city center of Desenzano del Garda, with an amazing promenade along the lake.
Sofia is a very helpful and friendly host. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!

The apartment is in a great location, being a short walk from the train station but also a short walk from the lakefront where the shops, restaurant and ferry are.
The apartment was fit for purpose, albeit it was a little bare in that we were given exactly 2 of everything to use in the kitchen (no spares) and also no spare towels/bedding. As we were staying for a week we would have liked to have had some spares. We went out shopping on the first day and bought cleaning supplies etc to ensure we could properly clean up after ourselves as these weren’t available in the apartment.
The only other comment would be that there is no sofa and instead these hanging chairs which are cute but not the comfiest if you are spending the evening in.
The outside spaces were great and the view is really lovely too. It was a quiet and safe neighbourhood.
The air con was a little confusing to begin with so we didn’t have the best couple of nights sleep but then we figured it out after plenty of trial and error.
The bin situation was a little frustrating. I’d recommend updating the info pack to confirm what colour bag you needed to use for each waste item to make the process easier.

The apartment has been furnished to a high standard with fantastic use of the space to provide all of the required facilities. The lake view is amazing, the hanging chairs make a lovely change from an uncomfortable sofa and the loungers provide a great sun trap. The kitchenette provides the basics for cooking very simple meals - who wants to do anything more complicated when there are restaurants within walking distance. Washing machine was a lovely addition.
Sofia was a great hostess who greeted us at the agreed time ensuring we had everything we needed and left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We really couldn't ask for more.
