The property is very well-located, a couple of minutes’ walk to the Square of the Jewish Martyrs right in the heart of the old town. Essentially two separate spaces with their own front doors sharing a small courtyard, very private and quiet. One space is a small studio, the other a small, two bed apartment (both with doors to the living/kitchen space). The showers were modern with lots of hot water and powerful. The kitchens in both areas are very small, but with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware. We were a couple and a single adult and we used both spaces. There is very little clothes storage in the studio (in the kitchen cupboard). The courtyard though small was lovely for breakfasts and evening nightcaps. The agents were friendly and helpful with good communication and overall we enjoyed our stay.
Note that, like much of the old town, Ikarou and nearby streets are cobbled and you will have to carry luggage for about six minutes from the nearest gate (private hire cars/transfers can’t enter the walls). The studio space is very small (think camper van size) but adequate for one person. A couple might find it very snug. The apartment has more space, with one large double bedroom and a smaller room with built up bed suitable for the most mobile/flexible. Although a few pans were provided, there were no cooking utensils-eg spatulas, spoons. These are minor issues.
