I absolutely loved our stay here. The accomodation was beautiful, the food was the best hostel food I’ve had, loved the activities on offer, particularly the waterfall hike. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful views and a great pool.
Nothing we didn’t like however one to note it is in the middle of nowhere so highly recommend a transfer which the hostel offers as there is a part that you need a 4x4 and it’s quite a wild ride.
As there was no locks on the doors we did have people who weren’t staying in our room come in and use the bathroom which didn’t feel right, however other than that a great stay.

This place is not for the faint of heart. Everywhere are very steep slopes. From getting to the facility (the road is crazy bad, you need a 4x4 and you need to close your eyes at a few places), to getting to your room, to going anywhere off premises, steep, difficult terrain. That being said, the views are spectacular, the flowers are all over the place, different from what you know, and gorgeous. The birds (bird watching at 6am is a must) were beautiful and varied.

We stayed in a villa on the property and it was beautiful and comfortable. The property itself was on a coffee plantation and it was gorgeous and had lots of stuff to do. The hostel looked great.
The Villa was quite expensive so are expectations were high, but there were many deficiencies. The 2 patio doors didn’t lock and the place was not supplied well. No corkscrew, can opener or dishcloths. Not even a towel or spoon each. The room wasn’t cleaned during our 4 night stay - not even to remove the toilet paper bags. The hot tub didn’t look that clean and we didn’t use it, but it also leaked and when the water level dropped too much it made quite a bit of noise. I made 2 requests for deficiencies and some were rectified. On check out the front desk manager ( who seemed concerned about our bad experience) gave a discount on the last night.
