About this cottage rental
Renovated house located on the Rocher de Cheffois site.
The accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, an entrance hall, a living/dining room, a kitchen, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, on the first landing, there is a bathroom (shower and bathtub) and a bedroom (four single beds, two of which are bunk beds) with an en-suite toilet. On the second landing (accessed by two steps), a hallway leads to four attic bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a double bed, one with a double bed, and one with two single beds), each with its own en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet). A laundry room (washing machine and dryer) is available in the basement. Wi-Fi is provided. Outside, there is a small terrace at the rear, accessible from the living room, and a second terrace on the side of the house, below the kitchen. The property includes a shared, wooded garden of 4,000 m². Covered bicycle storage is available. Parking for two cars is possible within the property, and street parking is readily available. This accommodation is semi-detached with another gîte (H85G030680).
Nearby attractions and activities include: the fortified village of Vouvant (14 km); the Mervent Forest leisure park (20 km); Puy du Fou theme park (34 km); the Marais Poitevin wetlands (54 km); La Rochelle (78 km); and beaches (75 km). Late check-out is possible, subject to availability and upon request to the owners:
- before noon, at no extra charge,
- or until 6 pm, for an additional €80 (payable on site).
Heating is included.
Optional extras:
- End-of-stay cleaning: €160/stay;
- Bed linen rental (beds made upon arrival): €18/bed/stay; Single bed (90cm): €15
- Towel rental: €7 per person per stay.
Additional charge: Tourist tax.
