Breakfast wasn't included. There was a garden however that was lovely and the host welcomed us to pick whatever we would like from it. very nice.
Our host Christina was in a hurry when she met us and review of details fell short. Additionally, she was more concerned about getting extra money from me for 5 people, when the house sleeps 8. And not all the guests were staying the entire length of stay. But she insisted I update my guest number on the website (which I could not) and pay her the extra in cash. Booking.com discounted our trip when she called them to update my guest count by accident. She wanted that money back, plus more. In cash. It seemed very forced and petty.
There was no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. The key mechanism was very difficult to remove key. The upstairs shower and bath was substandard. There was no stopper to take a bath. The shower wand only pointed to the wall and was impossible to adjust. A bottle of wine was a nice welcoming touch. Yet only a bag of dinner rolls and small amount of coffee was provided.
When informed, Christina's sister promptly dropped us water and toiletries. We had a leak, that was alarming and ill timed, but come to find out it was because of toilet paper blockage. misunderstanding because she was in such a hurry upon arrival. Again, her sister was over in a flash. Her energy was kind, warm and heartfelt.
