Great place to stay!! Our kids loves the scavenger hunt! We would definitely stay again!

Great for family with Kids. Easy entry. Worked great for New River Gorge Park and lots of local restaurant choices
8 / 10Excellent·May 2026
The Sasquatch Retreat was a quirky, cozy stay. It was very conveniently located for the sites we wanted to see around the New River Gorge National Park. It had 3 downstairs bedrooms with additional beds upstairs that we didn't use. The house does only have one bathroom. The entire house, inside and out, is decorated with a Sasquatch theme, which my kids enjoyed. The hosts also provided a fun scavenger hunt around house looking for mini-figurines of Sasquatch. The house is older than we anticipated and a bit aged. Overall the stay was fine.
