Mayflower Hospitality Hostel 1

This is an exceptional small property that did everything possible to make my stay perfect in every way. The area also is great, Green's coffee shop around the corner, great dry cleaner, the grocery store chain Giant has a location half a block away. Bus and metro underground very close by. Ethiopian restaurant next door. Really, Izaak and his colleague, and Rosa who dutifully cleans each day, are super friendly, welcoming in every way. Kitchen is small but no smaller than many hostels. Guests all were friendly AND maintained room decorum very well. No problems there. In short, please do remember that you should not show up for checkin before 2 PM. Otherwise, there are no negatives at all about this property. Cannot beat the price, either!! Enjoy DC more when you do not have to worry about anything, this property cannot miss due to location and great services.

The property has all the necessities for a visitor looking to stay in the city center for a reasonable rate. The showers and rooms were maintained every day by cleaning staff and the room was very comfortable. The quiet hours were helpful, but the guests staying here were friendly and nice to share with.

The kitchen is limited, but you get what you pay for. And there are lots of options nearby for eating out.

Location. Hostel is located in hart of Washington DC.

Needs to have bowls for cereals not just plates. More washable plastic cups for drink.

Facilities not adequate. Run low in hand soap. Otherwise location is great with surrounding amenities.
