Disappointment in an otherwise great town

It was nice that they left some instant coffee to start the day. The location was fine; a 15-20 minute walk to everything. Downhill on the way to town, uphill home. The neighbors behind liked to party outside until 3am each night but it was during the heatwave and we had the windows open. Also no screens so a room full of moths if you turned on the lights.

The property was like living in a discount or second hand store. Plastic furniture, plastic kitchen tools, cheap paper goods, poor mattresses and linens. Also the unit could use a good cleaning. Moldy shower, dusty and a kitchen that smells like old grease. We didn’t spend much time in the unit because of so much to do in Bath plus it was filthy and uncomfortable. We took a gamble with the lack of reviews and felt that at this price point it would be nice. Could be but it isn’t.

Nice appartement, well placed
