The property is beautiful but not worth the money if you’re looking for you’re looking for peace of mind.

The property is beautiful, nice view & the beds are comfortable.

First, the listing advertises a third bedroom, but it does not mention that this bedroom is only accessible from the outside, through the backyard deck. There is no way to reach this room from inside the home, which is a major safety and comfort issue that should have been disclosed. When we finally found the third bedroom, we discovered the power was out. Contacting maintenance was difficult—we had to call multiple times just to receive a text response. Ultimately, we were told to flip the breaker ourselves. Throughout the stay, we ran into more issues. Most of the TVs were not functioning properly, and only two out of five TVs had remotes. The main living room TV—the central feature of the home—did not have a remote at all. Maintenance said they couldn’t send anyone until the next morning. Even then, they promised to send an ETA but never did. Instead, a random, unannounced car arrived around 5 p.m. while we were getting ready to leave. We assumed it was maintenance, but since we received no communication, it was extremely unsettling—especially for five women alone in a remote wooded area. The most serious issue was the third bedroom. When we prepared to sleep there, we discovered the door does not lock—at all. It appears it has never locked. There was a broken piece of wood on the floor that looked like it had previously been used to try to keep the door closed. The room has no blinds, is detached from the main house, and is exposed to the outside. This is absolutely not safe for women, families, or children. A room like this should never be advertised as a standard bedroom without clear warnings. My biggest complaint, however, is the complete lack of accountability from the maintenance team or property owner. They have ignored my concerns about the unsafe third bedroom entirely. They only addressed one TV issue and disregarded everything else. I reached out to Booking.com for help, and the owner has now ignored Booking.com for 48 hours.
