The apartment's location is excellent, very close to downtown Saint-Denis, with a sea view.
The building is old and poorly maintained on the outside, particularly in the entrance area, stairways, and hallways. However, the apartment was delivered to us clean by the owner, and we had a parking space for our car.
The apartment was equipped with air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room, a kitchen for preparing meals, a television with French-language channels only, and a washing machine.
The apartment has two bedrooms with double beds: one facing the main street and the other facing the back of the building. We chose to use the back bedroom because it was very quiet. The other bedroom, which faces the main street, was quite noisy due to traffic early in the morning.
The key system of the building is quite complicated.
The TV channels are only in French; there was not even a single channel in English.
The water pressure in the shower was weak.
The kitchen utensils (pots, casseroles, etc.) were worn out, damaged, and of poor quality.
The apartment owner was very friendly, but she did not speak any English, which made communication and the explanations during check-in quite difficult.
