Disgusted with Turquoise House

Nothing.

Arrived day 1after dark, wrong code for key box. Has been like this for months it seems.Owner not responding. Had to call a local woman after finding her number on window using a torch to find it. She gave us the correct code. Heating cooling air not working also for some time. Oven not working. Owner does not respond. Crockery dirty. House not very clean. Could not get tv to work. Left and travelled north for 2 days. Returned to Turquoise house for our second 1 night stay we had booked months ago like the first night. Code still wrong. Oven still not working. Air con not working. Shocked to find our used towels we had left on the bathroom floor. No change of linen. No servicing had been done. Absolutey disgusted. Called local number again. She came shortly after and 1 hour late had completed the servicing. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Bad experience

The house is clean

Response from owner is non existent. No updated access code was provided before we arrive. The heater is not working n it was very cold. There was a power outage in the house n we couldn’t get in touch with owner to locate the fuse box. Inspite of many calls n left messages, there was no response.

Unsatisfactory for price paid. Disappointing compared to accommodation before this and after this on our trip which were

Location is ok.

Spotted 2 baby cockroaches, dirty water boiler, not so clean toaster (see pics for both) and no house heater. Thin blankets and not kids friend. Even checking in was frustrating. Wrong access code was given in email. Tried calling but no one picked up and email but no response. Fortunately, a cleaner working opposite the road walked over to assist key collection.

Great location and house. Would book again if people could be contacted for issues. I know this weekend there were unfortunate circumstances, but we couldn't contact anyone as the code to get in was oncorrect. Neighbours who knew the owners were amazing at helping us.

Could not work air conditioner, TV and the laundry could not be opened as the deadbolt did not have a key on the keyring provided.

No dishwasher 😩 Kitchen could use some more cooking equipment eg frying pans, storage containers and larger pots.
