The location was a nice in between. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make it peaceful- while at the same time being close enough for the commutes to be reasonable. Large enough house to comfortably accommodate 4/5 people. Fire-pit, sunroom and yard are a nice addition.
The cleanliness and communication with hosts was disappointing. Trash from previous guests was not taken out, leftover food still in the fridge, dishes dirty and appliances such as the coffee maker & water pot had white buildup in them and have clearly not been cleaned between stays. Fire pit had beer cans left in it as well as some garbage. We reached out to the host(s) 4 weeks & then again 3 weeks prior to our stay and received no response. When we noticed the condition of the home upon arrival, we called the number provided and got no response. After some digging, booking.com & Airbnb have completely different information/rules regarding this property which is confusing and a little odd. Different check in/out times, people to contact etc.
