Comfortable, clean place. Ten minute walk to train station. This town is a tourist spot wannabe. Means Salerno would love to be popular with tourists but they definitely do not have the infrastructure worked out yet. They do not know how to take care of the tourists. There has to be some sort of catering to tourists if you wish to cultivate them, but this place lacks that at the present time.
We stayed four nights and never saw any employee at the place, especially not the owner or anyone. The next hotel we stayed at after this one told us that in Italy it is illegal for them to rent out without ever seeing the customers. I do not know if that is true but it would be helpful if it was. We had so many questions about Salerno that needed answers and zero help whatsoever from the hotel owner. I would suggest do not go to Salerno for more than one day if you have mobility issues because there are LOTS of hills and up and down walking to do. It gets real tiring if you are over 65. Visiting this town was the sore spot of our entire vacation, means had I known what it was like I would never book four nights there.

The owner of the property is a very kind and helpful person. He supported us and let us occupy the room for 3 to 4 extra hours without charging anything. The rooms are super clean and the air conditions are spot on. Just a perfect b&b in Salerno. Excellent location as well.

The location is actually super convenient, it's near everything you need, bus, train, center of town, the sea.
The room is pretty spacious and good looking, pretty clean as well, with a nice view.
Communication with the owner was smooth and fast and getting in was easy.
They also have a coffee machine and a refrigerator with goods on the hallway.
When I booked the room I was planning to travel by myself and then my friend tagged along. So for a solo traveler, it's a pretty decent unit, if you're not too pretentious.
However, the offer for the room didn't mention the fact that it doesn't have its own bathroom and that can be pretty inconvenient.
Regarding the bathroom, while everything seemed clean, the shower was lacking.. It had a plastic mat full of mold underneath, a missing door which was replaced with a curtain that didn't look clean at all. I think the fact that the room has an external bathroom doesn't matter that much compared to the necessity of it being super clean.
While communication with the owner was smooth and he seems like a great guy, he only visited at night, at late hours which seemed odd and for two girls might be concerning at first, but everything was okay.
What bothered me the most was the fact that apparently, the Wi-Fi for the entire location was in our room and apparently, while we were away visiting, there were problems and our room was accessed without us being told about it. For me, this was the biggest issue.
Lastly, I don't know about other rooms but the location ca be loud, especially at night. For me it wasn't an issue but maybe it's an important thing for others.
All in all, for the price paid, it's a decent option.
