We loved the relaxing feel, the uniqueness and what the owner is creating. We enjoyed the peaceful and restful location, the lovely outdoor space and we thoroughly enjoyed the locally sourced wine and food you can purchase. Such a wonderful idea for anyone not wanting to travel to find a place to eat and especially good on a Sunday and Monday when most things are closed. A great selection to choose from.
A larger fridge to store goodies and lunches for up and coming travels and excursion's. A microwave is provided but no cutlery, glasses etc which could be a little tricky if you want to prepare your own meal.

Het concept van de accommodatie met hotelkamers in een grot is zeer bijzonder. Achter de muur langs de straat is een fraai ondergronds etablissement. Hugo is sinds een jaar de nieuwe eigenaar en is momenteel druk bezig om het concept nog mooier te maken. Ik raad een verblijf aan. Zeker in combinatie met een bezoek aan Troglodytes de Rochemenier en een diner bij Les Cathedrales de la Saulaire heb je een volledige ervaring op het gebied van ondergronds leven van vroeger tot recreatief vermaak van nu.

Nous avons apprécié le lieu, très atypique et majestueux ! Dormir dans des troglodytes ce n’est pas tous les jours ! 😅
Ce fut très calme et très confortable et croyez-moi, en cette période on n’a pas froid dans la chambre !
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’hôte de ce lieu, Hugo, qui nous accueille avec joie et prend le temps de nous raconter son histoire et celle du lieu. Bravo et merci pour tout, ce fut un grand plaisir de te rencontrer et nous espérons te revoir lors de notre prochaine visite ! 🤗
