We'd had a pretty long day travelling and all of us were fairly tired. We met the host at the gates and was given a tour of the apartment. The host had provided a breakfast and a stocked fridge for the first few days. We haven't seen this before with other apartments we've stayed at and was very much appreciated because it meant that we didn't need to head straight back out to find a supermarket for basic supplies. That was very thoughtful. The location is excellent. It is a quiet town at the bottom of the lake but this makes a nice retreat from the other towns on the eastern side of the lake. It still has plenty though (cafe's, restaurants and supermarket). Pan D'Oro was a particular favourite! It was a 5 minute walk to the train station, where it was cheap and easy use the trains up and down the lake (we bought tickets on the trainline app) and further afield to Bergamo and Milan. We only ever used the car to go to Monza and a water park! It was lovely to sit out on the balcony with a drink each morning and night. The property is also situated behind automatic gates, so it always felt very secure.
The apartment was warm but it was the height of summer when we stayed and it was during an exceptional heat wave. The host did provide air conditioning units for each of the rooms, so it wasn't really an issue

Appartement super fonctionnel et d’une propreté impeccable. Gare à proximité pour rejoindre les points d’intérêt et Milan. Parking privé. Arlinda se démène pour rendre le séjour inoubliable, on se sent comme à la maison !
