Kelly, the owner, was really lovely and made the whole stay feel personal. She checked us in early on the first day without any fuss. On the second night she invited us to her daughter Lena’s birthday party at the guesthouse BBQ, music, and people from all over the world. I ended up spending the night with Canela from Argentina, Ikram from Malaysia, and Leoni who I’m pretty sure was Italian. By the end of the night it felt like we’d known each other for years.
The AC unit is a bit small for two people and could use an upgrade. The bed is decent but could be more comfortable.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Sie ist ruhig in einer Durchfahrtsstraße gelegen mit viel Natur drum herum. Man ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten auf der Beachroad. Direkt gegenüber der Unterkunft gibt es die Möglichkeit, leckere authentische Gerichte für einen schmalen Taler zu bekommen. Der "Garten" ist sehr sporadisch, trotzdem sind den ganzen Tag viele Vögel zu beobachten und es kommen auch immer wieder Katzen und Hunde zu Besuch. Es gibt Sitzgelegenheiten, wo man selbst mitgebrachte Speisen verzehren kann. Es gibt einen Wasserspender an dem man Trinkwasser auffüllen kann.
Die Mitarbeiter wirken eher gelangweilt und wirken wenig bemüht. In den 6 Tagen hat keine Zimmerreinigung stattgefunden. Man bekommt alle 2 Tage eine Whats App, in der man aufgefordert wird sich zu melden wenn man eine Reinigung wünscht. Wenn man aber einen Mitarbeiter anspricht, wechselt dieser einem die Handtücher oder man bekommt neues Toilettenpapier. Die Zimmer sind der spartanisch eingerichtet. Es gibt nur einen Kleiderständer, sonst keine Ablagen und noch nicht mal Haken an der Wand. Das Badezimmer ist landestypisch, aber könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Auf der Terrasse stehen nur Plastikstühle und ein Minitisch. Hier kann man nicht gemütlich sitzen. Der Garten besteht eher aus Parkfläche für Autos und aus ein paar Palmen. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war nicht vorhanden. Im Zimmer war kein TV, es guckte lediglich das Kabel aus der Wand. Die Matratze war sehr hart. Insgesamt hat es schon Inselflair, aber mit ein bisschen mehr Liebe zum Detail und Engagement könnte man viiiiel mehr aus der Unterkunft machen.
