From the moment we arrived, this house utterly charmed us. Tucked right on the train station street, it made our upcoming train travel feel effortless—we could practically step out the door and onto the platform. But the convenience didn’t stop there: buses were just a stone’s throw away on the parallel street, ready to whisk us wherever we pleased. Yet, the true delight was discovering that we barely needed them. The city center was a mere ten-minute stroll away, a walk we came to treasure each morning as we wandered through the charming streets. The shops located closed to the train station remained open until 24:00. The house itself? Absolutely breathtaking. We found ourselves captivated by the views over the lake, losing track of time as we gazed out the windows. Every corner was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, creating a space that felt both elegant and wonderfully inviting. But the unexpected star of our stay was the pristine cleanliness. In a world where holiday rentals can sometimes feel a little worn, walking into a space that was immaculately fresh and spotless was the ultimate luxury. It wasn't just a beautiful place to stay—it was a truly comfortable, worry-free home away from home. We simply didn’t want to leave. Filippo was an amazing host!

Classic house fully restored with great taste. Very nice and attentive owner. Excellent location and gorgeous views to the Neuchâtel lake. Parking place included at no extra cost. Very big and well equipped kitchen. Very roomy and comfortable living room. Very nice terrace.

There're two toilets but only one shower, which is a bit short for a group of 6 like ours.
