The apartment offered everything that we required for a short stay. Additionally the hosts were super friendly and amenable, the views were wonderful and the location within the town was just what we were looking for. I would recommend it.

The property was very well appointed: the bed was comfortable, there was a comfortable sofa. The ensuite facilities were very good, with immediate hot water for the shower. The wash basin was a little small, but sufficient for our needs. The location was excellent. The River Gannel estuary is picturesque, and we had a lovely view of this ever-changing landscape through the main window. It was a short walk to Fistral Bay, and a slightly longer, but walkable, journey to the centre of Newquay. There were very good car parking facilities. Wayne and Sandy were very helpful and welcoming hosts.
I felt mislead by the description of the property as an apartment. The kitchen was accurately described as having tea/coffee making facilities and a (very small) refrigerator. But that was it. The term, kitchen, implies cooking facilities, which were not present as we had expected. This is a criticism of the advertising, not the room itself. It would be more accurately described as having the facilities of an excellent hotel room, with the additions of a very comfortable sofa and a small refrigerator. This concern should not detract from the high quality of what was available.
