This was a great place for us - were were there for a July/August summer holiday for a 5 day stay including some horse riding - and to see a part of Cz that was new to us.
The Statek was near perfect for our family - it was cool in the hot weather and was very comfortable with lovely beds and a great bath and shower. The nearby town had a basic co-op store which was fine for us - and slightly further away Polna had a large supermarket and was also a very interesting place to visit. While we were there there was a saints day festival.
Having a clothes washing machine was a big bonus - if you are touring about you need some long stays to freshen up the clothes and relax. Add in the sport and it became an essential.
The garden was wonderful - it is enclosed on three sides by the old farm and one side is a lake. You feel like you are staying in a Skansen. The owners provided a great BBQ and the wood we needed - so one night we made use of that for a great supper. Interestingly - despite the lake - we had no mosquito problems.
All day it was quiet - a great place to be on a sun-lounger with a book. Nearby there were rivers to swim and raft in and some great castles too.
There were two great places for riding nearby. One is a dairy farm where you can go western riding - and the owners relatives run that. There is also a large and more formal riding club with fantastic quality coaching (the chief there is a top dressage rider) though there we also opportunities for country rides too.
Only one thing - there is a very well equipped kitchen but it has no hot water - so washing up is a chore as you boil up a few kettles of water !

The place is so beautifully renovated and decorated. We had three very peaceful days here. There is a large courtyard and a pond with a lot of space for the kids to play. Inside, there's everything you need as a family. We were received by the owner's father, who explained everything to us in very good English. Our daughter loved playing with the cute cats.
There is nothing to criticise, everything was really good.

Snídaně nebyla v ceně, ale to nevadilo, vše bylo naprosto perfektní, velmi milá paní majitelka, vkusné a skvěle vybavené, vlastně naprosto nadstandardně vybavené ubytování, kde bylo úplně vše, co můžete potřebovat. Jako bonus čtyři krásná koťátka!
Nic mne nenapadá.
