Good size kitchen. Nice deck to sit on. Good air conditioning in bedrooms. Comfortable beds with clean sheets. Location was great, close to the nightcliff foreshore pathway. Nice big enclosed garden for dogs.
The property was filthy when we arrived, despite my drawing attention of the uncleanness to the owner (we had entered the property before check in to leave some luggage). 4 adults spent a full hour cleaning this place (including aircon filters - vile) before we felt comfortable staying. Really unacceptable. The photos don’t show very well but there were greasy fingerprints on EVERY surface / touch point. Food stains and a mouse poo in the fridge, thick dust and grime on all the fans, you could barely see yourself in the mirrors of the bedrooms due to handprints and smears, even dirty plates and cutlery. Also the owner told us it had been empty for 2 months prior, so there’s really no excuse for giving it to guests in this state. Photos attached. The property itself was unkempt and outdoor furniture in disrepair. We didn’t use the spa as it had leaves and branches in the bottom.
Also to note, it is only a one bathroom property. There is an OUTDOOR shower downstairs (not very private, no door) as well as a dirty old toilet in the laundry (again outside.)
