Located on the first floor, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished—it combines accessibility with the typical charm of an Upper Lusatian half-timbered house.
The apartment features wide sliding doors, a threshold-free shower, grab bars in the bathroom, and a wheelchair-accessible kitchenette. A parking space is located right next to the house—the walk to the entrance is short, level, and free of steps.
The rooms themselves are arranged in a traditional log-style living area: exposed wood, clean lines, and a sense of tranquility. The combination of functionality and a cozy atmosphere makes this apartment a place where you feel welcome—without any restrictions.

Our vacation home at Hanselhof 26 offers you a vacation in an approx. 400-year-old half-timbered house that retains much of its original charm while offering a modern standard of living. We’ve been able to preserve many of the original features and have also given some items a new lease on life. Hanselhof 26 features 3 vacation apartments: on the first floor, a barrier-free apartment compliant with DIN standards for 1–3 guests; and on the 1st and 2nd floors, two vacation apartments spanning 2 floors for 2–6 guests. Parking is available right next to the house; the entrance to the accessible apartment can be reached via a wheelchair-accessible ramp from the courtyard side.
On-site fees: • One-time pet fee: 20.00 € (allowed only in the Lausche vacation rental)
Check-in is from 3:00 to 18:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 11:00.
