I had a very comfortable stay. The room had everything I needed.
I was mindful of the bar/restaurant opening hours, so planned accordingly with earplugs to account for noise levels.
I would happily stay here again.

Good place for a feed and sleep. Though building shakes when cars pass on main road adjacent. Okay if you’re a heavy sleeper I guess.

I was happy with the shops surrounded by the hotel which is great, but just with the rooms I would say it is clean but we need a good clean of the carpets or even replace.
In our room we had the tiles in the bathroom has lifted so it would need a bit of maintenance done on the rooms. Your beds were a bit uncomfortable so probably need new beds. Thats my honest feedback, but other than that I will go back to The Halswell.
