A seriously clean room in a neat modern apartment, with a big rooftop terrace with a fantastic view north across the town to the spectacular enormous fortress on top of the old town, and also of the hills to the east. And being out of the centre, lovely and quiet in the evening. A very attentive and organised owner. A kitchen with a fridge and (hooray!) an expresso machine. To find the B&B easily, head west on the main road towards the marina but before you get there turn sharp left up a steep hill at the big 'hotel' sign and wind up the steep tiny streets. It's two doors from the modern church that looks like a giant lighthouse!
