We walked into the apartment and went wow. It is a very old building which has been renovated sympatheticly. From entering via old wooden gates into the courtyard to climbing the stairs inside the turret, felt the history of this building.
There is a friendly cat who lives on the same floor and makes you feel at home. I loved the peace and calm of the building.
It is situated in the centre of a medieval town, which still continues as a living centre. There was a lovely restaurant just a few meters away.
Although there was ample parking in the town, the narrow streets would not allow you to park at the property. We unloaded and left our belongings in the secure courtyard and then parked.

Het appartementje ligt achter een monumentale gevel op de bovenste etage aan een rustige binnenplaats. Je beklimt een stokoude torentrap en komt dan in een mooi opgeknapte grote ruimte met royale slaapkamer, een apart keukentje en een ruime badkamer. Alles heel goed verzorgd. Heerlijk slapen met de ramen open
Telkens de trappen op en de oude houten deuren goed sluiten is beetje gedoe. Oppassen voor de lage deurposten!

L emplacement au coeur d'un village médiéval, dans une demeure historique.
La visite guidée par notre hôte. ****
L'accès aux étages n'est pas toujours aisé pour une personne agée, mais il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur au XIV e siècle !

Bonne disponibilité et réactivité de l'hote qui etait présent et s'est adapté à nos horaires.
Logement très propre et en très bon état.
bon contact avec l'hote.
Le parking libre veut dire qu'on se débrouille pour se garer.
Il n'est pas précisé que ce logement donne sur la rue, et que les fenêtres sont à hauteur d'homme.
Le logement est très sombre.
