Conveniently located near everything. Quiet safe neighborhood.
It’s an older property however it’s spacious, quiet and peaceful.

Was clean and located 11 min from the base and was great for BMT graduation. The house is close to the airport which was nice. The house rules are simple straightforward nothing to crazy like some places. Overall we enjoy our stay and the house worked for our needs. The host was responsive and answered quickly if we had questions
The living room has limited seating and could use more comfortable furniture . For party of 3 it was okay but for a larger group it wouldn’t be very comfortable. The kitchen has the bare minimum and you can cook but dishes/ cooking utensils are sparse. For a family who like to cook more that eat out may have to buy a few items. The bathroom blinds should be replaced they are broken and it leaves a gap.

The property was spacious, and the location was reasonably convenient—especially for proximity to Lackland Air Force Base, with a bus stop accessible nearby.
• Comfort & Cleanliness: The AC barely cooled the space. The cleaning between guests was superficial—there were corners that clearly hadn’t been detailed, and dead bugs were left along the window frames.
• Incomplete Amenities: The kitchen had dishes and glasses, but there was no silverware/cutlery to actually eat with.
• Abusive & Shifting Extra Fees:
1. Early check-in and late check-out fees are excessive and inconsistent (initially quoted at $15/hour, then abruptly raised to $25/hour).
After check-in, the host attempted to charge additional off-platform pet fees, claiming they "forgot to ask beforehand." The pet charge varied arbitrarily by size, and even for a small pet, it cost nearly half the total price of the stay.
• Excessive Restrictions: Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the house. Despite paying an exorbitant pet fee, the pet is not allowed to roam freely or get on any furniture, and if left unattended, the host requires it to remain locked inside a crate/carrier the entire time.
