Pocono Ridge Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos

I like the bed and breakfast charm and relatively quiet location. Lots of renovations on the property, great staff.

I stayed in the annex for the first time, which was ok, but I like the rooms in the main building. The AC unit was old and didn't make the room as cool as I needed. I needed a desk with a light and chair for work, but the room did not have a desk.

Our family recently took a trip to the Poconos and stayed at Pocono Ridge Inn. Unfortunately, our trip began with a very stressful experience. Halfway there, our rental car broke down in the middle of nowhere. When we contacted the rental company, the only solution they offered was to send a tow truck to take the car away. We were left stranded, trying to figure out how our family was going to get to the hotel and, eventually, back home. We called an Uber and made our way to Pocono Ridge Inn, not knowing that we were about to meet someone who would turn a difficult situation into a beautiful memory. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt something special. The hotel is beautiful, cozy, peaceful, exceptionally clean, and filled with an atmosphere of harmony and tranquility. Eugene, the hotel manager, welcomed us with such genuine kindness. He personally showed us around the property and shared the history of the hotel with us. We were immediately impressed by how much care and thought has gone into creating such a warm and welcoming place. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. There is a beautiful large pool, a well-equipped gym, a ping-pong table, and a basketball court. There are also three wonderful lounge areas: one with a gorgeous white piano, another with a small library, and another with a TV, board games, a karaoke machine, a PC area, and rocking chairs. There is also a large dining/cafeteria area. Every space is beautifully decorated and inviting. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Eugene’s kindness. When my husband told Eugene what had happened with our rental car and explained that we were stranded without transportation, Eugene didn’t simply express sympathy. He took action. He made several phone calls and worked to arrange transportation for our family back to New York. Thanks to him, a beautiful bus was arranged to take us home safely. Eugene, you truly went above and beyond for our family.

The room was nice and clean just that the bathroom was too small. The shower and commode are can hardly fit normal person

The pool was not working but not listed as such when we hooked. The kitchen was closed for renovation but not noted as such when we booked.
