Le Palais de la Cathedrale is in the most amazing location - opposite the cathedral. The staff were very helpful, and thoughtfully provided a fan as it was very hot when we arrived. The room was great, with an amazing bathroom.

Le Palais se trouve en plein cœur de St Omer, très au calme à l ombre de la cathédrale. On y est bien accueilli. La chambre et la salle de bains sont spacieuses, lumineuses et agréables. La décoration est soignée. Le petit déjeuner, complet et frais, se déroule dans la jolie salle à manger. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir séjourné ici plus longtemps.

It was quirky and a peaceful location and we had access early
The bedding was creased and needed ironing. I would like to have known the toilet was literally in a cupboard next to the bed, not nice and the shower room, which was good but having to go through 2 doors including public space we should have been provided with robes or warned! The electrics weren't a very good standard and the decor was very tired and shabby. The 'parking' isn't guaranteed and a long walk if carrying luggage !
