We had an incredible 4-night stay at Amber & Marco's beautiful home and I can't wait to return! The space and the property surroundings are even more beautiful than the pictures.
The apartment has been gorgeously renovated with a very large, well-stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated bedrooms with clean linens and large cozy beds, and a large bathroom with heating and excellent water pressure in the shower. Despite the summer heat, the entire house stayed very cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The living room felt like stepping back in time to a France of yesteryear, but with extra cozy seating for late night book reading. The outside patio was an absolute dream, and we spent as much time there as possible eating delicious food and relaxing after busy days exploring.
Amber and Marco could not have been kinder and more generous hosts, with extremely prompt communication and amazing suggestions of villages and markets to explore. Meeting them has been a gift! Thanks to them, we discovered the most amazing medieval villages straight from a postcard and markets that made my soul soar.
The property is a destination itself with incredible architecture, beautiful wooded trails, fruit trees, 2 stunning horses, and 4 adorable cats. We took a swim in the lake each afternoon we stayed and it could not have been more perfect. The sunsets on the patio were the icing on the cake, followed by a sky overflowing with stars.
This property and its caretakers are pure magic, and we will absolutely be back again. I can't recommend it enough!
