Wow! Was NOT expecting this one!!!
Booked last minute en route to the Highland Show. Slight issue on arrival as had had no signal on phone all day and hadn't received arrival instructions (they HAD been sent.... my ancient Apple i-phone just couldn't cope without full internet access!!) However , phoned hosts on arrival. They picked up straight away and were super lovely.
The whole place was GORGEOUS. Sadly we were only there for one night but will absolutely book this one again as a Borders base.
Great parking literally outside the entrance. Just be aware that there are quite a lot of stairs if you are travelling with little people or elderly parents. But otherwise fabulous location. Straight out of the door into Hawick and all its facilities.
And try Adams Kitchen - just along the pavement - for a fab feed!!!

Great location
Lounge was quiet nice
Floors very uneven especially in the bathroom. Lots of stairs. Drab entrance and saggy bed
