Bad Start, Good Stay

Given the wrong code for the key lock. Had to ask a stranger to phone for the correct code since we had no SIM card or internet. Given a different apartment from the one we booked. It was further away from the Railway Station, our point of arrival and departure. From the pictures, it appeared to be inferior to the one we booked.

Very disappointing experience, particularly in terms of the host’s attitude

Our experience with this host was particularly unpleasant, mainly because of her aggressive attitude and lack of consideration. Upon arrival, after a long journey with our three children, we simply asked whether it would be possible to leave our luggage in the apartment before check-in. She refused very abruptly saying: "you paid from 3pm, it is as simple as that"! We fully understand the check-in rules, but a polite response would have been sufficient. The main issue arose when we reported that the Wi-Fi was not working. After following her instructions to restart the system, without immediate success, she wrote: “I am not fixing, not bringing anything. If you stay you stay, or leave. Leave the key on the table and get out. Leave asap!” We found this reaction completely disproportionate and unacceptable. We were never disrespectful or aggressive towards her; we were simply trying to resolve an issue with the accommodation. In addition, several problems were found in the apartment: a strong unpleasant smell, a ground-floor location directly facing a parking area so we can not open the windows, an extremely small bathroom, a sleeping area located in the kitchenette, dirty and wet dishes, an apartment that is too small for four people, a very dirty oven tray, an unusable freezer, and a dishwasher that was not working. The attached photos illustrate several of these issues. Beyond the material problems, it was above all the host’s attitude that made this experience particularly unpleasant. Telling guests to “leave asap” simply because they reported a problem is completely disproportionate. I therefore cannot recommend this accommodation, mainly because of the host’s behavior, which made our stay particularly unpleasant.

Holiday in Helsinki

The bedroom and kitchen were spacious. The property was close to Kamppi station and Helsinki Central Station.

The bathroom and shower area was extremely small and cramped. The property is quite old.
