This was really a home away from home, fully equipped with everything you need and more. The location was great, the yard was huge with plenty of space to throw a ball for our dog. The fireplace in the living room was great and there was good heating throughout, given how cold it was outside. The home was spacious with plenty of places to sit and relax and space for the kids to have their own area. The house was beautiful and light, well stocked with everything we needed from spare towels to glad wrap!
Though fully fenced in, the fencing was not suitable for our small dog (cavoodle) who could easily have escaped - having him was also an extra cost. The firewood was great (though an unadvertised extra - $30, but well worth it and great quality firewood) there wasn't enough kindling to get the fire going a few times, since we didn't keep in burning when out.
